JUNTOS PODEMOS
Our people throughout the Americas flee the conditions created by the United States. Americans go on about their regular lives as their corporations violently enforce their exploitation on our nations with the approval of the American government. We must come together in solidarity and remind them that we, the brown people of the Americas, are still here. Let us also remind them that they came to these lands full of people who were brown just like me and you. Who are the true invaders? It is the American whose hideous birth through colonization, slavery, and plundering of resources that carved a path towards the economically invasive entity we call neocolonialism. We, the indigenous and their descendants, suffer the worst fates throughout all of the Americas, from the Mapuches of Argentina and Chile, all the way North to the reservations and claimed territories of the USA and Canada. We, the Chicano community of Denver, stand in solidarity with anyone who shares the pain and strife we go through as indigenous and detribalized indigenous. Let’s come together and fight for the freedom of all our beautiful, diverse cultures of the Americas. We must reject North American and Western exceptionalism. We must condemn their unjust wars sponsored by Lockheed Martin. We must reject their corporate-bribed politics. With these foundations, we can create a better and thriving society for our nations. All power to all the people.
